Maryland Republican Party is hosting a half-day Campaign Treasurer Training seminar in Bowie, MD.  Treasurers will be hearing from Jared DeMarinis, Director of Candidacy and Campaign Finance at the State Board of Elections.  MDGOP Candidate Recruitment Chair Chuck Gast and I will also be sharing some ideas on how treasurers can help their candidate fundraise and warning of common traps to watch out for in the world of campaign vendors and spending.

This is a great time to get direct answers from the head of the campaign finance division at the State Board of Elections.  Candidates as well as treasurers are welcome and encouraged to attend.  If you can’t make it but see an area listed that you need more information about, this is a great time for you or a campaign staffer or volunteer to get inexpensive training

If you want to take part, I do need an RSVP by May 28^th.  There is a $25 per person fee to cover the cost of the room and materials, also due by May 28^th.  You can mail a check, or call us to pay by credit card over the phone.
